To assist in Local Content Development activities in the Healthcare & Pharma Department by conducting studies and research of the categories that can be supplied by the local suppliers and support the development of business cases.
§ Receive demand and supply data from the Data Management Department and ensure its usability for the identification and prioritization of key local content gaps in Healthcare & Pharma sector.
§ Contact private sector companies to collect information related to the products and services they provide.
Supply Gaps Analysis
§ Participate and coordinate with Local Content Data team to provide supply gap analysis on various local suppliers in order to stimulate and develop local content.
§ Understand business objectives, design surveys and collaborate with department head to explore and promote categories available in the local market.
§ Compile and analyze statistical data on Healthcare & Pharma suppliers and marketplace by using modern and traditional methods and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations to make sure of the availability of local content goods and materials.
§ Research and stay abreast of local market trends and local suppliers’ activities to support the identification of local content opportunities.
Business Case Development
§ Help in performing valid and reliable market research (i.e. SWOT analysis) to know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the supplying categories from the local market.
§ Participate in conducting research and analysis on possible local content opportunities, and present findings to the Healthcare & Pharma Director in order to support the local content development.
§ Support the preparation of feasibility studies of local content opportunities in Healthcare & Pharma sector through conducting relevant analyses such as NPV, CAPEX, OPEX, scenario analysis, IRR, etc.
§ Learn to track and record metrics, data and statistics on local content performance to support Healthcare & Pharma entities.
§ Support the development of local content tools tailored to certain sectors or particular local content opportunities to ensure the ease of implementation of local content opportunities for LCGPA and its stakeholders.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§ Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
§ Perform any other related tasks and duties as directed.
