2. JOB PURPOSE
To contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of LCGPA’s security architecture and overall security program in order to achieve compliance with the security goals and regulatory requirements.
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
DESCRIPTION
Cybersecurity Architecture and Governance
§ Support the development of LCGPA’s security architecture and security policies, principles and standards.
§ Support the development of LCGPA’s security governance framework to ensure that set security controls are followed, and policies, principles, and standards are adhered to across LCGPA
§ Develop a security compliance model and work with related departments to ensure that LCGPA complies with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) requirements.
§ Work with the Cybersecurity Monitoring team to ensure the closure of all existing vulnerabilities.
§ Conduct Cybersecurity risk assessments and identify appropriate security controls to mitigate risks.
§ Assist in the development of Cybersecurity awareness and education programs and establish a mechanism to monitor and measure employee understanding of informational security risks.
§ Assist in the development of the Cybersecurity strategy, including the design of Cybersecurity roadmap.
§ Evaluate RFPs to ensure LCGPA security standard requirements are met by vendors.
§ Recommend and validate baseline security configurations for operating systems, applications, networking and telecommunications equipment.
§ Support internal and external security risk audits and help develop remediation plans for closing identified gaps.
§ Manage execution of Cybersecurity projects, including project initiation, tracking and management of project costs.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§ Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
