Economic Participation Manager

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To manage the development of Economic Participation opportunities research and business cases as well as support in drafting, negotiating and realizing economic offset agreements and contracts in order to support the economic development of KSA.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Development and Relationship Management

- Lead the identification, evaluation and selection of new potential strategic partners for offset agreements to ensure generating opportunity leads to expand LCGPA’s influence.

- Develop and maintain relationships with existing economic development entities and strategic partners in the economic offset program to explore mutual agreements with LCGPA.

Offset Opportunities Exploration

- Manage the research and identification of economic offset opportunities through collaborating with data office teams and Local Content Development to obtain access to opportunity data and networks in the Saudi market.

- Develop business cases for economic offset deals through conducting feasibility studies for the opportunities using the correct analyses to ensure representing the opportunity in the right format of the analysis and explore the viability of the opportunity and its impact on the Saudi economy and its contribution to local content.

- Present economic offset business cases to management and other stakeholders to ensure LCGPA’s alignment with external governmental and semi-governmental entities.

Offset Agreements Management

- Support in monitoring offset agreement execution and report risks and/or performance issues and take timely decisions to rectify them. 

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

- Direct the development of Economic Participation Department policies, systems, processes and procedures to ensure the consistent application and ease of operations for subordinates.

- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
