JOB PURPOSE
To design a wide range of digital and/ or printed graphic materials and create complex, original graphic design and comprehensive layouts, and to coordinate with external design houses in order to ensure creating best designs for marketing projects and creative productions within LCGPA.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
DESCRIPTION
Design
§ Collaborate with other departments to brainstorm ideas and develop new approaches to create innovative and expressive graphics, presentations, website and advertisement banners, social media images, info-graphics and others.
§ Conceptualize, plan, design, and produce a wide range of specialized graphics, information graphics and/ or illustrative material, to include multimedia concepts to contribute in improving LCGPA image.
§ Develop specifications for printings and/ or other graphic productions, and select appropriate production media and materials, such as ink and paper; inspect proofs for accuracy and adherence to appropriate production standards.
§ Support the design and creation of the artwork related with press releases to ensure that the publication is visually attractive and achieves the reach targeted.
§ Take overall responsibility for work produced for all stakeholders, including email templates, banners, brochures, leaflets and website mock-ups.
§ Ensure all design work produced is aligned to LCPGA brand guidelines and delivers the intended message effectively to promote the LCGPA image.
§ Create and produce animated videos and animated portions of live videos using computers and video production equipment.
Outsourcing Management
§ Provide technical advice and guidance, and serve as liaison with production personnel, authors, publishers, clients, and/or printing representatives on design and technical graphics issues.
§ Plan production schedules for the various steps in the design process; analyze and projects development costs and develop project budgets and workflow.
§ Identify, select, and coordinate vendors for printing and publication services, as appropriate to the project; may write and process requests for proposals for printing requisitions; identifies and recommends contractors, such as typesetters, printers, illustrators, photographers, and/ or cartographers.
§ Work with stakeholders to ascertain needs and to develop graphic directions, concepts, and specifications for assigned projects.
Graphics Documentation
§ Create and maintain graphics repository for all creative assets and resources, such as software, art materials, graphics, special fonts, etc. which are needed for future use.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§ Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
