Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To support in building and maintaining the list of auditing companies and building and maintaining relationships with auditors to ensure that Local Content has qualified and trained auditing companies to conduct Local Content audits and generate accurate reports for public and government entities.
DESCRIPTION
Auditor Selection
§ Support in conducting selection assignments and executing the set criteria and attributes which determines the effective and efficient selection of Local Content auditors to ensure having qualified auditing companies to conduct Local Content audits.
Auditor Relations
§ Set-up meetings with Local Content auditors, as directed by Department Head and document meeting outcomes to ensure following up on action plans agreed with the auditors.
§ Support in maintenance of relationships with auditors through setting and updating the list of Local Content auditing companies, to ensure the best interests of LCGPA and represent the authority in a professional manner at all times.
Score Approval
§ Support in developing and enhancing the agreed upon procedures to ensure more accurate LC score.
§ Support in defining and developing LC audit report approval process.
§ Support in reviewing and analyzing audited LC reports.
§ Prepare and issue the local content certificate.
Performance and Training
§ Assist in the evaluation of the performance of Local Content auditors through maintaining a data base of auditors’ performance on quality, pricing and delivery timeliness to ensure all LCGPA needs and requirements are achieved.
§ Support in building appropriate auditor onboarding and training material, in coordination with Centre of Excellence, to ensure that the auditors are well informed of Local Content scoring methods and Local Content requirements.
Database Management
§ Assist in the maintenance of Local Content highly qualified auditors through continuously entering and updating the database.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§ Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
