Job Description


To support in managing the development and stakeholder/relationship with State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Public Investment Fund (PIF) portfolio of companies/entities through a council that will be managed by LCGPA to ensure setting and aligning Local Content methodology and Local Content scoring




Business Development

§  Identify, evaluate and select new potential entities and strategic partners, in coordination with the Local Content Development team through attending meetings and making regular visits to SOEs and PIF portfolio of companies/entities to ensure generating opportunity leads and expand LCGPA’s influence in partnership with those entities.

§  Coordinate with LCGPA internal teams (e.g. Corporate Communications, Local Content Development, Legal Affairs etc.) on a regular basis to keep all stakeholders informed on upcoming opportunities to ensure that LCGPA’s efforts are collaborative, minimize overlaps in interaction, and maintain partners’ satisfaction.

Partnerships Engagement

§  Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Public Investment Fund (PIF) portfolio of companies/entities to identify and launch Local Content opportunities and secure alignments.

Performance Monitoring

§  Conduct performance monitoring of Local Content initiatives and Local Content performance for SOEs and PIF portfolio of companies/entities to ensure that the entities meet Local Content requirements and target scores.

Knowledge Transfer and Advisory

§  Lead the process of advising, supporting and guiding SOEs and PIF portfolio of companies/entities, disseminate best practices towards implementing Local Content requirements and liaise with new entities to implement Local Content requirements.

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

§  Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure consistency of controlled activities.

§  Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
