JOB PURPOSE
To develop strategic plans for LCGPA through contributing to the development of LCGPA strategy, strategic planning framework, models, templates and maintaining updated strategy dashboards and scorecards in order to achieve the strategy of LCGPA.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
DESCRIPTION
People Management
§ Supervise the teamwork of the Planning & Analysis division and follow-up on the evaluation of their performance by providing feedback on an ongoing basis and seek opportunities to develop their capabilities in order to motivate them and raise the level of performance of the work of the department.
§ Identify the training and development needs of the Planning & Analysis division employees and fill the knowledge gaps to ensure continuous development and a high level of competence within the team.
Strategic Planning and Development
§ Lead the development of LCGPA’s strategy by Leveraging different tools and frameworks to position LCGPA and grasp the key insights for Strategy structure.
§ Create and maintain all Planning & Analysis frameworks, models, templates, reports etc. in order to increase the strategy awareness and develop the strategy communication plans.
§ Develop and embed an integrated approach to planning at all levels within LCGPA, including devising, maintaining, implementing and monitoring the strategic planning cycle.
§ Develop and manage the Planning & Analysis process, supporting planning with the necessary internal and external analyses required.
§ Develop the related framworks and methodologies to revise and review the strategy on yearly basis.
§ Translate the corporate strategy into functional and sectorial plans, through cascading the objectives, KPIs and Initiatives on sectorial basis.
§ Contribute to setting priorities on the annual Manpower plans.
§ Lead the efforts of any related adhocs or strategic support for different departments of divisions within LCGPA. Or assigned to the SMO by the CEO or Executive director of strategy.
Communication and Collaboration
§ Collaborate with departments across LCGPA to define their objectives and business plans to ensure the cascading from the overall strategy.
§ Work closely with different departments to develop their Annual operational plans casdaced from the Corporate strategy and Sectorial objectives/Initiatives.
§ Provide sessions to key stakeholders on LCGPA on key strategic topics to ensure that LCGPA’s strategy is well communicated and understood.
§ Lead the workshops and sessions to increase the awareness about strategy accorss the organization
§ Lead the efforts towards reviewing all strategies of different entities assigned by the top management and give recommendations for the required response.
§ Lead the efforts of any related adhocs or strategic support for different departments of divisions within LCGPA.
Risk Management
§ Identify any potential risks and threats to LCGPA’s strategy and business objectives to ensure that all risks and threats are eliminated in a timely manner.
§ Conduct strategic analysis, identify scenarios and formulate recommendations on the basis of the provided inputs of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
§ Conduct a thorough review and analysis reports submitted by subordinates and make timely decisions to ensure enhancing the Planning & Analysis division performance, mitigating highlighted risks and achieving LCGPA’s objectives.
