To manager and complete special projects on time within budget and scope, and ensure overseeing all aspects of the project and act as a liaison between different departments ensuring all stakeholders are provided with operational and technical support from the project’s initiation to its completion
§ Collect data regarding estimates to projected expenditures to support Special Projects Director in the preparation of the Special Projects budget within the approved budget
Special Government Projects
§ Support the project set-up, including developing work plans, budgets and operational responsibilities and mandates for all assigned requests from government entities.
§ Arrange the development and analysis of ad-hoc and special research studies in the public sector in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information.
§ Implement and review the Special Projects’ work plans to meet the changing needs and requirements.
§ Monitor the project's team performance (if a project team was assigned to special projects) to ensure milestones in the work plan are met.
§ Develop mitigation plans to reduce risks and take corrective actions to remedy any deviation from the work plans.
§ Make decisions on project task execution such as assignments, priorities, deadlines, dependencies, solving problems, resolving conflicts, and ensuring resources have what they need to execute the special projects.
§ Oversee day-to-day management of Special Projects from initiation through implementation, tracking and reporting all daily tasks relating to projects.
§ Monitor and communicate the special projects status and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.
§ Utilise appropriate project management methodology and tools to run the special projects and maintain reference materials required for the project
§ Provide effective interface between the different departments ensuring that all internal and external stakeholders of the special projects are provided with operational and technical support from the project’s initiation to its completion.
§ Interact and continuously communicate with all departments to ensure projects are completed effectively and with minimal disruption to planned dates.

§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§ Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
§ Perform any other related tasks and duties as directed.
