Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To contribute to the effective implementation of the monitoring policy, in government, State Owned Enterprise (SOE) and Public Private Partnership (PPP) procurement to ensure implementing departments’ objectives as per LCGPA’s strategy and regulations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Local Content Requirements
§ Support in monitoring and selecting the appropriate LC mechanism for the strategic procurement as per LCGPA’s strategy and inputs from Development
§ Support to review existing monitoring policies and procedures on frequent basis, and provide recommendations for continues improvement.
§ Support in developing and implementing advance monitoring tools.
§ Contribute to the establishment of statistics database.
Interface with Stakeholders
§ Support in working with all stakeholders To monitor LC compliance by reviewing all relevant documents, which include – but not limited to - local content plans, RFPs, Contracts, and periodic reports .
§ Support in working with all stakeholders to make sure tendering activities captures all of LCGPA’s LC requirements.
§ Participate in data collection activities related to the strategic procurement from designated entities and generate a summary report to confirm the compliance of LC requirements.
§ Support in working with all stakeholders to address complaints .
§ Support to maintain effective communication and work closely with both external and internal stakeholders to support LC implementation.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§ Support in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
